Class this week: We wrapped up our unit on heredity with punnett squares, pedigrees, and genetic disorder projects and a quiz last week. We have now started our human body unit and are studying the following human body systems: cardiovascular, digestive, urinary/excretory, and respiratory. Students should know all the major organs, their functions, and how these systems interact with each other to bring needed materials to and from all cells around the body. We will also start to prepare for our NC Final Exam (NCFE, 5/31, afternoon) for science. After the science final exam, we will work in groups to play Science Survivor - a favorite!
