Class this week: Last week, we finished up our study of cell division with an open-note quiz. We are starting our unit on heredity and genetics. Don't be surprised if your student comes home and asks to see if you can roll your tongue and what shaped earlobes you have! Ask them how a person can be a carrier for a genetic disorder or trait, yet NOT have the trait! Students have their new vocabulary sheet for heredity and we will have the vocabulary quiz on Wednesday.

(May draw a picture.) 3.Explain why a person with an allele for a particular trait may not actually show that trait. HINT: Use Ff where having freckles is dominant (F) and not having freckles is recessive (f). Thursday, 3/28 HW: Retake your quiz from home or during Wolf Time if you did not earn the magic number.
